When I was in Chicago, I went to go see the Blueman Group. The Blueman Group is a group of three men that are accompanied by a band. They are supposed to represent alien like creatures, with no hair, blue skin and no voice. Quoted from their website, "Blue Man Group is best known for its widely popular theatrical shows and concerts that combine music, comedy and multimedia theatrics to produce a totally unique form of entertainment. The blissful party atmosphere created at the live events has become the trademark of a Blue Man Group experience". They have the most interesting, most creative, new inventive way of mixing music together with art. I could have sat in the audience for days and not realize that days had gone by! Their show is so incredible that you can't even describe it. I think it's interesting because they do something different but aren't as advertised to world as much as they should be. If I asked a group of people who the Blueman group were, I don't think everyone would know about them. I think if they were more advertised in the media they could start a new revolution of creativeness that would just explode into something amazing!

You don't learn to love, it just comes naturally

Love is used as a theme for everything. Flick on the tv, turn on your ipod and listen to a song, love is something everyone can relate to. Everyone craves for their hearts to feel full of love. For that feeling of your heart getting caught in your throat, butterflies in your stomach, light headed feeling when someone tells you they love you. As if you are walking on air and everythings perfect. To go to sleep at night knowing that someone out there is thinking about you can be the strangest most wonderful feeling you could ever feel. But just as easily as those feelings come, they can slip through your fingers and no matter how hard you try, they just keep falling and falling. You're so used to the feeling of being surrounded by happiness, that just as fast as it came-within seconds darkness can come crashing down around your head and it's like you're the only one left in the world. The other day I was asked if I believed in fate. The truth is, I believe things will happen for a reason. There is no way to know if you made the right choice, or how it will impact your life. We are always told to look ahead, plan the future. Life would be less stressful if we all lived in the now. Sure, it can be a good thing to imagine the future, plan how you want your life to pan out in your head. But sometimes that's what can mess you up the most. Doubt is the biggest problem in out society. Doubt kills, before it's prey even gets the chance to prove itself. I think that's why a lot of relationsips don't work out. Especially in high school. We are always told they won't last, so what's the point of trying to make it work when everyone is told that it won't. Why would someone want to kill someone elses happiness? Let them find out for themselves whether their relationship will work, let them have their own feelings, make their own mistakes. There is no way to avoid heartbreak, but if every person found someone they could fall for, and believed in themselves and believed in forever, there may be less. That also brings up another question. Can you be young, and know what love is? I think you can. From the moment you are born, to the moment you die you love something. Whether that's your dog, your favourite doll, your mom, your dad- anything. You don't learn to love, it just comes naturally. So yes. I believe you can be six years old and be in love. There's nothing wrong with that. Why not have more love in our world. Maybe if we did we would accept difference, there wouldn't be any wars, people might not be afraid of other people. I think the world would be a happier place. Love is something everyone wants. Everywhere you look there is love. It's a feeling everyone craves, and in the media it can be glamorized, and blow up to something that's not reality. Is the media giving us a false idea of what love really is?

Believe in truth, freedom and above all things-love

The other day I was cleaning out my movie cuboard and I found the movie Moulin Rouge. Immediately, I put the movie in and watched it. I think this movie is so well done. The plot line, and the music give it such a good effect for the audience. The music gives the movie an modern feel to the 1899, Paris time period. The movie portrays the truth about living as a performer. The love story has twists and turns and keeps your eyes gluded to the screen because you want to know what will happen next. The lyrics and the story line, grab at your heart strings all through the movie. The movie is about love surviving through all sorts of obstacles that should tear them apart. It is a movie that you will never get tired watching, and it is a movie that even people who hate musicals would love. It gives you feelings of love, suspense, and sadness.
Every man wanted her. But One man dared to love her.
